Kissing Ronan Lynch is like leaning in close to a rattle snake and having it lick your face instead of attack. It feels both dangerous and safe at the same time. Ronan could always bite, but Adam knows that Ronan won't hurt him. And truthfully, Ronan might look all rattle snake on the outside, but Adam knows that on the inside Ronan is something much softer than that.
Adam has no idea how or when touching and kissing Ronan became so easy. Maybe they've been easing into it for so long that it's never had the chance to be anything but easy. Either way, kissing Ronan feels good, like something he's been waiting for for much longer than just a semester worth of months.
Adam's roommate is almost always sleeping at his girlfriend's place. Adam likes it that way. They usually just see each other in passing. It's just Adam's luck that the door swings open at that moment.
He pulls back and looks over to Barry. His fingers are still hooked into Ronan's bracelets.
"Oh hey." Barry says. "Didn't know you had company. You know there should be a sock on the door, right?" He grins jokingly and then holds a hand out to Ronan. He doesn't seem to judge Adam's and Ronan's kiss. He doesn't seem to blink twice at Adam's finger hooked into Ronan's bracelets. "I'm Barry. Adam's roommate. I was beginning to think he didn't do anything but study."
